For as long as I've had a blog, I've had this little thing set up on it that tracks how many times my blog is visited or read using a reader. Over the past couple of months, the numbers have been increasing...but, the comments weren't really increasing, so I just figured my few faithful readers, all 5 of you, were hitting "refresh" a lot.
Well, I went home this past weekend and guess what. Everywhere I went, people were saying things like..."I've had so much fun reading your blog." or..."I know we don't see you much, but I feel like I know what's going on with you." one person even said I was a good writer. Seriously, at least 30 people me they were reading this thing. Who knew?!?! Not me. Want to know why...because they don't comment!
I'm going to let you in on a little secret. I like comments. In fact, I'm pretty sure most people that blog like comments. So, for the next few posts, I'm asking you to step out of your comfort zone and do a little commenting. You say you're reading, but I want to see what you think...on the blog. Not in an email, facebook message or text. On the blog. Come on, you can do it.
And, for those of you that told me "I just don't know how to comment." Have no fear...here are the step by step instructions!
---Scroll down to the bottom of the post and you will see a little link (on my page it is orange) that says # comments.
----Click on that little orange link and a box magically appears that says leave a comment.
----Type the comment in the box
After you type your comment, you need to one of the following three things before you click post.
----If you have a google account, click on the radio button by google and type in your info.
If you don't have a google account, no worries...just go to the next step.
----Click on the radio button by the word Name, type your name and hit post.
If you don't want me to know who you are, that's fine too...just go to the next step.
----Click the radio buttion by the word annonymous and hit post.
Ok, friends...come on, you can do it. It's not that hard...I promise! Can't wait to read your comments!

This blog rocks and you are amazing. I am so thankful to have a way to keep up with the many adventures of Lindsey Smith, detailed with pictures that make me feel like I'm there! I prefer getting to MAKE memories with you, but reading about your special ones with other people you love is a good second!

I get the same thing, except no one tells me that they even take a glimpse at my blog. I just get 1 or 2 comments from teh same people. I'm not complaining about those two people, but I would like a little encouragement every now and again:)
